Short Summary:
Sorenson Engineering, a leader in micro technology solutions, is seeking Tooling Technicians to operate machinery and inspect tools.
Responsibilities:
- Operate lathes, mills, or grinders to cut, sharpen, bore, grind, repair, or make tools on metal or plastic materials.
- Inspect, fabricate, and finish tools using various techniques and instruments.
- Read and interpret drawings.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping procedures.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting skills and techniques.
- Train others as needed.
Requirement:
- High school diploma.
- Experience with lathes, mills, grinders, toolmaking, inspection drawings, measuring techniques, advanced math, and micromachining tolerances.
- English communication required.
