- Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): $229,000-$343,000 annually
- Zone B: $218,000-$326,000 annually
- Zone C: $195,000-$292,000 annually
- Eligible for equity in the form of RSUs

Short Summary:
Snap Inc. is looking for an Engineering Manager to join the Maps team, focusing on building the world's most personal map, enhancing user experience and engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of backend engineers
- Set strategy, build a roadmap, and create measurable goals
- Collaborate with Product, Operation, Data Science, and Engineering teams
- Evaluate technical tradeoffs and mentor technically
- Hire, grow, and retain high-performing team members
- Utilize AI tools and high-velocity engineering workflows

Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
- 9+ years of post-Bachelor's software development experience
- 1+ years of experience managing a team or acting as a technical lead
- Experience with distributed systems and backend service development
