Short Summary:
This is a BNPL platform that pursues a mission to give Venezuelans back the opportunity to access credit. Since our launch in 2022, we've been dedicated to promoting financial inclusion. Today we have more than 9 million active users, both consumers and merchants, and we've become a trusted brand in Venezuela.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build robust, scalable backend services in Node.js and NestJS (Express).
- Create and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Build for financial correctness — idempotency, reconciliation, retries, and well-defined failure states.
- Model and manage relational data, primarily in PostgreSQL.
- Make architectural and system-design decisions.
- Ensure optimal service performance and own production deployments end-to-end.
- Raise the engineering bar through code reviews and mentoring.
- Move fast across multiple workstreams in a dynamic, high-growth startup environment.

Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with solid depth in Node.js and NestJS (Express).
- Proven experience designing and operating RESTful APIs in production.
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Strong grasp of design principles and architectural patterns.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
