Short Summary:
We are seeking a Media News Analyst to join our team for a Saudi Aramco project in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing media coverage across digital, social, and broadcast platforms, preparing media intelligence reports, and supporting media relations and crisis communication activities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor online, social media, broadcast, and digital news channels for relevant media coverage.
- Analyze media content and identify critical news based on established guidelines.
- Respond to media-related inquiries and maintain accurate records for tracking and follow-up.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly media monitoring and impact reports.
- Utilize media monitoring platforms to track news trends and public sentiment.
- Coordinate with Media Relations and internal stakeholders to ensure timely communication.
- Support crisis communication activities by monitoring developments and providing media intelligence.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely dissemination of media updates.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in media monitoring, journalism, public relations, or communications.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Experience using media monitoring tools and analyzing news trends.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work on a rotating 8-hour shift schedule.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
