Short Summary:
Promote, establish, communicate, and implement safety expectations and initiatives; monitor and stimulate execution with contractor's safety policy, rules, and procedures; and monitor conformance with project and site safety execution plans and implement improvements where appropriate.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and monitor compliance
- Prepare reports
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments
- Facilitate permits/JSAs
- Investigate incidents and communicate safety expectations
- Conduct regular safety inspections/assessments
- Report results to management as needed
- Participate in investigation and follow-up of incidents/accidents
- Conduct daily worksite safety meetings
- Generate reports for management and customers as needed
Requirement:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 Years of safety experience in the Construction industry
- OSHA 10 required
- Associate's degree in safety related field preferred
- Current and valid state driver’s license
- Must be knowledgeable of company protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
