Short Summary:
This is a 12-month full-time internship opportunity designed to provide deep professional immersion in Sant Cugat, Spain, as an Associate SW Test Engineer. You will be part of the CHU & CB Integration & Testing team, ensuring the reliability and safety of diagnostic instruments.
Responsibilities:
- Creation, maintenance, and review of SW test cases in all lifecycle phases
- Execution and documentation of test cases including defect reporting
- Maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Ensuring adherence to relevant processes, guidelines, and working instructions
- Supporting the definition of new features and functions to ensure clarity and testability of requirements and user stories
Requirement:
- Master's degree (MSc) or Bachelor's degree (BSc) in a relevant technical or biomedical field
- Foundational interest in SW testing (black box testing)
- Fluency in English (B2/C1)
- Ability to contribute to team collaboration and mutual respect
- Bonus: Basic understanding of diagnostic workflows or initial exposure to software testing
