Short Summary:
As the Principal Metrologist, you will be responsible for the technical oversight of calibration processes across Global Operations, applying measurement science in a GMP manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Establish instrument calibration specifications and tolerances.
- Investigate calibration failures and propose remedial actions.
- Lead technical calibration projects within the Calibration Department.
- Analyze and solve complex calibration-related problems.
- Review and approve calibration data sheets and certificates.
- Train department personnel on calibration concepts and procedures.
- Execute tasks related to the Computerized Calibration Management System (CCMS).
Requirement:
- PMEL or equivalent calibration/metrology training or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on calibration and metrology experience in a GMP environment.
- Proven knowledge of computerized calibration management systems, spreadsheets, and quality management systems.
- Advanced technical writing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel approximately 5% of the time and wear personal protective equipment.
