Short Summary:
We are looking for an experienced, motivated Freelance Backend Software Engineer to work closely with Backend colleagues and support product teams, contributing knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, relational databases & REST within agile teams.

Responsibilities:
- Develop clean, stable, testable, and performant backend code for mobile applications- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including architects, frontend engineers, QAs, and product owners- Participate in code reviews, ensure test coverage, and adhere to CI/CD principles

Requirement:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer- Minimum 2 years of full-time experience as a Backend Engineer- Familiarity with Java 17+, Spring 5, Hibernate, or JAX-RS- Experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud providers- Strong written and verbal communication in English- EU citizen or valid Austrian work permit
