Short Summary:
Join Robinhood's Privacy Engineering team to protect customer trust by embedding privacy into technology and culture. Collaborate across teams to ensure privacy, data governance, and security are integral to every initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed privacy architecture reviews to identify potential risks, recommend controls, and ensure privacy-by-design is built into every technical layer
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Legal, and Compliance to implement privacy-by-design in systems, applications, and workflows from inception to launch
- Build and use AI agents and sub-agents to automate and scale privacy operations
- Guide the selection and deployment of privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs)
- Advise stakeholders and adjust practices to maintain compliance with global privacy regulations
- Lead internal efforts to share best practices and increase awareness of privacy principles
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
- 2+ years of experience in data privacy, security, or privacy engineering
- Proficient with AI, with hands-on experience building and utilizing agents
- Familiar with regulatory frameworks like GLBA, GDPR, and CCPA
- Experience with privacy-enhancing technologies and data anonymization practices
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical topics to various stakeholders
