Short Summary:
Quora is a "remote-first" company focused on growing the world's collective intelligence through its platforms, Quora and Poe. The Data Team plays a crucial role in influencing product and company strategy through data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:
- Own well-scoped, impactful problem spaces across product and business domains
- Design and evaluate experiments to measure the impact of product and strategic changes
- Analyze data to uncover root causes of metric movements
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to inform product decisions with data
- Contribute to tools, methodologies, and frameworks for data intelligence

Requirement:
- Availability during Quora's “coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
- 1+ years work experience in an analytical or quantitative role, including 2+ as a Data Scientist
- Proficiency with statistical techniques and their practical application
- Effective communication skills for translating business needs into analytical questions
- Experience using a procedural programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation
