Short Summary:
Join Proton to build a better internet where privacy is the default. As an ASO Manager, you will develop Proton's internal outreach function from scratch, focusing on acquiring authoritative links in top-tier global publications.
Responsibilities:
- Build Proton's internal outreach function from the ground up — define the strategy, set the quality bar, and establish processes for link acquisition.
- Own backlink acquisition from major global publications.
- Manage the agency roster end-to-end: vet partners, set deliverables, track performance, and adjust as necessary.
- Run competitive link gap analysis to identify ranking opportunities and build outreach campaigns.
- Collaborate with PR, Social, Content, and Affiliates to ensure campaigns are designed for link acquisition.
- Own performance reporting on link acquisition volume and its impact on organic traffic and SERP positions.
Requirement:
- 6+ years leading outreach or digital PR, with a track record of securing links from major publications.
- Multi-market execution experience across languages and markets.
- Agency management experience, including briefing and holding partners accountable.
- Competitive link analysis skills to identify and address structural gaps.
- Budget ownership experience across multiple markets.
