The ideal candidate is a Maryland LMSW who is passionate about supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions, while working toward independent clinical licensure (LCSW). Location: Maryland (Remote / Telehealth / Hybrid Available)
Job Type: Part-Time | W-2
Compensation: Pay is based on completed therapy sessions, caseload size, and employment structure work up to 10-12 cases per week.
Job Summary
Protect Each One Consulting LLC is hiring a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Maryland (remote work) to provide trauma-informed mental health services under the supervision of a Board-approved LCSW.
This position is ideal for an LMSW seeking to gain clinical hours toward independent licensure while receiving high-quality supervision, mentorship, and support within a growing group practice.
Responsibilities – Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Provide individual psychotherapy to adults under clinical supervision
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and assist with diagnostic formulation
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with a clinical supervisor
- Deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT-informed approaches)
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in EHR
- Participate in weekly clinical supervision (individual and/or group) in accordance with Maryland Board of Social Work requirements
- Adhere to ethical standards, HIPAA compliance, and confidentiality requirements
- Collaborate with supervisor on case consultation and treatment planning
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress-related concerns
- Interest in working with retired military, first responders, or high-performing professionals and individuals experiencing stress, anxiety and depression.
- Training or exposure to CBT, DBT, or trauma-focused approaches
- Interest in workplace mental health and burnout prevention
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Supervision & Clinical Development
- Supervision provided by Maryland Board Social Work-approved LCSW-C Supervisor
- Structured supervision aligned with Maryland Board of Social Work requirements
