Job description
We're looking for a Research & Data Administrator to join Procore's Scout Research Team within Levelset, a Procore company. In this role, you'll act as a blend of a detective and a data expert, researching and resolving missing or incorrect data related to construction projects. Your primary goal is to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance of information on documents sent to property owners or general contractors, which is essential for the validity and effectiveness of payment-related legal notices and crucial for protecting their right to receive payment for work performed.
As a Research & Data Administrator, you'll partner with your team and key Customer Success Team members to ensure customers are getting what they have earned by sending legally compliant documents. Use your strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and excellent communication skills to correct wrong data, fill in the gaps, and maintain accuracy and efficiency through steady communication, ensuring legal documents are sent correctly and promptly.
This role is an excellent fit for individuals who genuinely enjoy research and fact-finding and thrive on structure and routine, while also appreciating a challenge in a tech-forward, global company with a mission-driven culture. This position involves a lot of repeating tasks, so we are looking for someone who doesn't mind that, and can find satisfaction in consistent precision. You'll play a critical, behind-the-scenes role in ensuring both customer success and legal compliance, ultimately helping contractors and suppliers get paid faster and more securely.
This position reports into The Scout Research Manager and will be based out of our New Orleans Office. We're looking for candidates to join our team immediately!
What you'll do:
Research and resolve missing or incorrect data related to construction projects, including job addresses, ownership information, or permit numbers.
Delve into various sources such as online databases, county records, and internal tools to obtain accurate information.
Communicate directly with customers in-app to verify and clarify information.
Meticulously enter updated information into the system to ensure customer's legal documents are sent correctly and promptly.
Prioritize tasks based on service-level agreements (SLAs), managing time-sensitive items efficiently.
Collaborate with team members on complex research cases, share best practices, and participate in training on new research tools or process updates.
Consistently perform repetitive data verification and entry tasks, thriving within a structured daily routine.
What we're looking for:
2+ years of experience in a customer service, data entry, research, or administrative role
Exhibit strong attention to detail and precision in work, recognizing its critical importance for legal documents.
Display a proactive problem-solving mindset and enjoy digging into details to solve puzzles.
Communicate optimistically, clearly, and successfully with clients and handle customer inquiries with professionalism via phone and email.
Be comfortable using technology, including internal databases and public records search tools.
Enjoy working independently while valuing the support of a team and adhering to a structured routine.
Maintain a help-first, customer-centric perspective in each interaction, even behind the scenes.
