Short Summary:
Primer is the unified infrastructure for global payments, providing finance and payments teams with visibility and control to reduce complexity and improve performance.

Responsibilities:
- Leading the design and implementation of core backend services for high-performance, complex distributed systems
- Taking ownership of key technology decisions, building for scale and optimizing for output
- Driving and using modern development practices such as BDD and TDD
- Creating clear, modern, well-tested code
- Collaborating across teams in a product-driven environment
- Conducting code reviews and continuously looking for ways to improve working methods
- Creating detailed internal documentation for projects

Requirement:
- In-depth understanding of the entire development process (design, development, and deployment)
- Knowledge of building developer frameworks and workflows for seamless integration
- Experience in Python is advantageous
- Highly motivated self-starter who values autonomy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Payments knowledge, focusing on optimizing the merchant developer experience
