Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform, enabling individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across various domains. The company is looking for a Data Scientist to support the product team by turning raw data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Define, build, and maintain dashboards to monitor product performance and surface anomalies.
- Quantify opportunities behind proposed work and help set measurable KRs based on data.
- Plan, instrument, and analyze A/B tests to measure feature impact and provide recommendations.
- Partner on data-driven projects like personalization and ranking, from approach to measurement.
- Produce clear readouts for product and leadership to influence decision-making.
Requirement:
- 4+ years in a data science or product analytics role, ideally with consumer products.
- Strong SQL and proficiency in Python (or R) for analysis and modeling.
- Expertise in designing A/B tests and applying causal-inference methods.
- Solid grounding in statistics and the ability to choose appropriate methods.
- Product sense to translate ambiguous questions into analyses and recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills to present data narratives to non-technical audiences.
- Comfort in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment with shifting priorities.
- (Plus) Experience with personalization, ranking, or pricing systems.
- (Plus) Familiarity with prediction markets, trading, or real-money marketplaces.
- (Plus) Track record of building experimentation practices.
