Medical Science Liaison - Southeast Remote

Short Summary:
The MSL will foster relationships with key opinion leaders and support the scientific and clinical strategy of Orca Bio's next-generation allogeneic cell therapies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in stem cell transplantation and cell therapy.
- Identify and maintain relationships with academic experts and healthcare providers.
- Prepare and maintain a territory management plan.
- Engage with field team members for medical support.
- Develop understanding of hematologic malignancies and competitive developments.
- Serve as the primary liaison for Investigator-Sponsored Trial (IST) program.
- Gather and communicate scientific insights to inform medical strategy.
- Support clinical trial activities and enhance patient recruitment.
- Lead the collection and dissemination of scientific information.
- Provide medical and scientific support for health outcomes and payer engagements.
- Initiate and execute projects aligning with company strategy.
- Provide education and training to commercial teams.
Requirement:
- Advanced clinical degree in a life-science or basic-science discipline (MD, DO, PharmD, NP, PA, DNP, M.Sc, or Ph.D.) and industry experience as an MSL.
- Significant experience in malignant hematology and cellular therapy.
- Strong understanding of the cell therapy ecosystem and clinical development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
