Short Summary:
As the Director of Product Management – Platform, you will own and drive the multi-year product strategy for Okta’s foundational platform suite, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer. This role includes complete product ownership over the core infrastructure powering Okta’s enterprise identity engine.
Responsibilities:
- Translate Okta's overarching enterprise vision into a comprehensive, multi-year product strategy and roadmap for the entire Platform portfolio.
- Take direct accountability for core business results, high-throughput platform feature launches, and global platform resilience/uptime SLAs.
- Build, retain, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers.
- Serve as the primary executive champion for Okta's platform strategy with CISOs, CIOs, strategic enterprise accounts, and industry analysts.
Requirement:
- 9–13+ years of progressive Product Management experience in B2B enterprise SaaS, developer platforms, or core infrastructure.
- 3+ years of direct people management experience managing product managers.
- Strong architectural foundation in identity systems, administrative access control (RBAC), usage metering, or AI-assisted enterprise workflows.
- Proven experience driving high-throughput launches and owning business/platform outcomes across interconnected product lines.
