Short Summary:
Netlify's Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to own and transform the corporate finance cadence, focusing on automation and efficiency in financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Own the monthly reporting cycle end to end, including actuals load, budget-vs-actuals, variance commentary, and management reporting.
- Maintain and run the 3-statement operating model and driver-based forecast.
- Own headcount and software/vendor expense forecasting, tracking actuals against the approved budget.
- Maintain the company-level KPI and metrics layer, ensuring data integrity.
- Drive automation of manual work in the monthly close and forecast cycles using AI and tooling improvements.
- Document processes for repeatability and auditability.
- Build internal tooling to improve financial reporting and budget workflows.
Requirement:
- Several years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or private equity.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, with experience in large datasets.
- Deep command of SaaS metrics and their drivers.
- Self-motivation and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Working knowledge of SQL is a plus.
