Short Summary:
Natera is seeking an innovative and driven bioinformatics scientist to lead and conduct cutting-edge real-world evidence (RWE) analyses and predictive analytics across oncology, organ health, and women’s health datasets. This role blends expertise in bioinformatics, AI, ML, and manipulation of complex RWD.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis of large-scale cancer and germline multi-omics datasets.
- Utilize traditional bioinformatics tools with AI-driven techniques for genomic data interpretation.
- Lead extraction, curation, and analysis of large-scale RWD sources.
- Design and execute robust RWE studies.
- Facilitate integration of omics data with other data types.
- Develop, train, and deploy AI and ML models for forecasting trends and outcomes.
- Integrate complex multimodal datasets and extract insights from unstructured data.
- Oversee RWD and genomics projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate data into research initiatives.
- Present complex RWE data clearly to diverse audiences.
- Stay updated on genomics and bioinformatics developments.
- Engage with stakeholders to define project goals and report progress.
Requirement:
- Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, or related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in bioinformatics and genomics data analysis.
- Expertise in cancer genomics and bioinformatics tools.
- Strong experience with SQL, Python, or R, and data visualization tools.
- Proficiency in predictive analytics and AI frameworks.
- Familiarity with real-world clinical data and common data models.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
