Short Summary:
As a Software (Application) Engineer in the Workplace technology team, you’ll help design, build, and maintain systems and automations that power Mozilla’s workplace technologies, focusing on collaboration and AI productivity tools.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scripts, APIs, and workflow automations for workplace systems.
- Develop services or integrations connecting collaboration tools and internal systems.
- Implement monitoring and troubleshooting for automation and AI workflows.
- Contribute to secure onboarding and off-boarding workflows.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and People teams to ensure compliance standards.
- Participate in pilot projects for new AI and productivity capabilities.
- Contribute to code-review processes and documentation.
- Partner with senior engineers to modernize workplace systems.
Requirement:
- 4–6 years of experience in software engineering or workplace technology development.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms and interest in AI workflows.
- Understanding of IAM/SSO or willingness to grow in this area.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
