Short Summary:
Motive is seeking a Product Counsel to advise on technology, law, and financial needs, focusing on risk mitigation and growth.

Responsibilities:
- Counsel the Product team to launch new features for the Motive Card
- Negotiate contracts, including customer NDAs and financing agreements
- Support Sales with training to streamline the sales cycle
- Review and develop compliant Marketing content
- Collaborate with Finance and Risk to minimize loss and investigate fraud
- Work with legal peers on privacy, regulatory affairs, and product counseling
- Stay updated on industry developments

Requirement:
- US-licensed attorney with 6+ years of experience
- Significant in-house experience with law firm training
- Experience with emerging fintech products, especially in commercial payments
- Knowledge of US financial regulations and ability to explain compliance to engineers and PMs
- Comfortable making independent decisions in regulatory/contractual ambiguity
- Enthusiastic and humorous approach to work
