Short Summary:
The Department of General Services (DGS) is seeking a Senior Capital Improvement Project Manager to lead capital projects, manage construction, and develop standards related to energy efficiency and GHG emissions reduction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead County Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) in support of GHG emissions elimination and resiliency development.
- Direct and monitor all phases of construction management including contractor oversight and site inspections.
- Oversee environmental facility studies and compliance measures for capital projects.
- Chair consultant and contractor selection committees; develop solicitation documents.
- Support County purchasing strategies for energy programs.
- Lead building commissioning and provide training for facility maintenance staff.
Requirement:
- Requires 3–7 years of architectural or engineering project management experience.
- Relevant education in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
- PE or RA licensure, PMP or similar certification, and a valid Class C driver's license.
