Short Summary:
We're looking for a Senior PR & Communications Manager for a high-visibility, high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and execution. As the first in-house comms hire, you'll report directly to the Head of Communications & Content and will help build the PR function at Mixpanel.
Responsibilities:
- Media relations: Cultivate relationships with journalists, drive earned media coverage, develop story angles and press materials.
- Product launches & company news: Partner with Product Marketing for PR strategies, manage PR activities for announcements.
- Agency & partner management: Manage agency relationships, set priorities and KPIs.
- Internal communications: Partner with leadership for internal messaging, support communication programs.
- Crisis & issues management: Monitor media for reputational issues, develop crisis communication protocols.
- Executive communications: Manage award submissions, develop LinkedIn content strategies for executives.
Requirement:
- 7+ years of communications experience, preferably in B2B tech and PR agency.
- Experience in analytics, data, AI, engineering, or product development.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills across various formats.
- Strong verbal communication and storytelling skills.
- Experience managing external agencies and working cross-functionally.
