Short Summary:
As Method's Senior Counsel, you will drive the commercial legal engine that has powered Method's expansion into a multi-product fintech platform. You will become the primary legal partner to our go-to-market teams, focusing on contract efficiency and legal support as the business scales.

Responsibilities:
- Own commercial contracting – Draft, review, and negotiate lending agreements independently.
- Become the go-to legal partner for go-to-market – Serve as the primary legal point of contact for account executives and customer success.
- Build the AI-powered legal function – Design workflow automation, internal playbooks, and review tooling.
- Create repeatable cross-functional processes – Establish clear workflows between Legal and other departments.
- Expand coverage as the business grows – Extend legal support to the emerging commerce product.

Requirement:
- At least three years post-JD experience in commercial law in the consumer finance industry.
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements independently.
- Prior consumer finance experience with familiarity in regulatory and commercial landscape.
- Genuinely energized by early-stage ownership and eager to build AI-assisted legal tools.
- Exceptional collaborator and communicator with strong judgment.
