Short Summary:
The Critical Facility Carpentry Technician will support the maintenance and operation of critical facilities, utilizing carpentry skills for repair and improvement projects, including the installation of doors and construction of walls within military bases.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on critical facilities, including wood and metal doors, locks, windows, and flooring.
- Conduct door hardware maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting doors.
- Troubleshoot and correct operational issues.
- Construct or modify building partitions and ceilings as needed for door installation.
- Work with electricians for programming of door controls and automatic door operators.
Requirement:
- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 10+ years of experience.
- Active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- HVAC training preferred.
