Short Summary:
The Material Expeditor Lead is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of critical materials, serving as the primary escalation point for complex delivery challenges impacting major projects and operational reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the enterprise escalation authority for critical, high-impact material delivery risks.
- Lead recovery efforts for complex and schedule-critical materials.
- Provide expert guidance on expediting strategy and risk mitigation.
- Drive senior-level engagement with suppliers to resolve delivery issues.
- Establish and maintain enterprise expediting standards and performance metrics.
- Represent the expediting function in governance forums and project reviews.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or Associate’s with six (6) years relevant experience or seven (7) years in expediting/materials/logistics.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex recovery efforts for high-risk materials.
- Proven ability to influence outcomes across multiple business units.
- Expert knowledge of expediting practices and logistics.
- Strong executive communication and problem-solving skills.
