Short Summary:
The Desktop Support Analyst role is a hands-on, internal customer-focused position providing day-to-day support to Magnet Forensics employees, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Installing, supporting, and managing desktops
- Analyzing logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems
- Documenting internal procedures and knowledgebase articles for end-users
- Performing updates, audits, and configuration changes of systems and software
- System monitoring/configuration, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware
- Providing support outside normal hours of work
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of technical experience including administration and support of technical infrastructure
- Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and Mac Operating Systems
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Office 365, networking technologies, and web application environments
- Highly organized in time management and documentation
- Strong self-starter attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
