Short Summary:
QA engineering team supporting a long-running product line for an international manufacturing client, focusing on functional and regression coverage for web-based applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver
- Create, execute and maintain automated scripts for functional, regression and smoke testing
- Perform manual testing — functional, integration, system and UAT
- Build automation solutions on TestNG/JUnit; apply Page Object Model and data-driven testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar)
- Work with developers, product owners and business analysts to clarify requirements
- Conduct API testing using Rest Assured, Postman or equivalent
- Identify, document and track defects in JIRA / Azure DevOps
- Review test cases and give feedback to junior team members
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives; report testing progress
Requirement:
- 7–8 years in software testing with emphasis on automation
- Java (Core Java, OOP concepts)
- Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid
- TestNG or JUnit
- Maven / Gradle
- Git / GitHub / Bitbucket
- Jenkins, GitLab CI or CircleCI
- API testing — Rest Assured or Postman
- SQL / database concepts
- Cross-browser and responsive testing
