Short Summary:
The successful candidate will join the existing Production Control team and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and availability of our production systems and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth running of all automated production processes and the general well-being of main services.
- Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests in a timely manner, troubleshooting technical issues and providing resolution or escalation as needed.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and support providers to resolve issues and escalate complex technical problems when necessary.
- Maintain documentation of production processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure accurate and efficient support.
Requirement:
- Must have 3+ years of relevant working experience.
- Proficiency in batch scheduling tools and systems (e.g. Autosys), with hands-on experience in job scheduling, monitoring, and automation.
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts for querying and analysing application data.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools for system administration tasks.
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, system monitoring, and incident management.
- Good Communicator, adaptable, needs to be able to work well alone and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and challenging environment.
