Short Summary:
An opportunity exists within a large financial services organization for a backend Developer as part of a new capability within RDP Content Platform Technology. This role will work as part of a scrum team to help develop and shape new technology and drive change throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Business logic implementation on AWS Cloud and Azure Cloud.
- Data systems Enhancement and Support from End to End.
- Programming and testing software with clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Following best practices in software development.
- Collaborating closely with other project key roles: QA, BA, and Scrum master.
- Troubleshooting in codebases and improving production service with new technologies.
- Being accountable to quick response to service issues.
Requirement:
- Must have 10+ years of software engineering experience (including at least 5+ years in developer role and 3+ years hands-on experience with AWS Cloud or Azure Cloud).
- Hands-on experience with AWS (or Azure equivalent): Lambda, ECS, SQS, Dynamo, Opensearch, API Gateway, Event Bridge, etc.
- In-depth experience with Java programming and testing framework.
- Experience with Workflow concept and tools like BAW, Camunda, Flowable, etc.
- Experience with development, integration, deployment, and operation of distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience on CICD, Git, and Terraform.
- Experience with SQL and DB programming.
- Experience with Python programming.
- Good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Agile methodology.
- Good English communication skills are required.
- Effective communication skill is a must.
- Experience with Financial Data processing and/or ETL tools is a plus.
- A degree in a relevant subject, or can show how you've built up your experience and skills over time 'on-the-job'.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or Information Technologies is required.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- Passed CET-6 or equivalent English test.
