Short Summary:
QA engineering team supporting a long-running product line for an international manufacturing client. The team owns functional and regression coverage for web-based applications, maintains a Java/Selenium automation framework, and runs automated suites as part of the CI/CD pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver
- Execute automated and manual test cases for web applications
- Perform functional, regression, smoke and sanity testing
- Create and maintain automation frameworks on TestNG/JUnit
- Apply the Page Object Model design pattern in test automation
- Write clear and detailed test cases and test scenarios
- Identify, report and track defects in JIRA
- Work with the development team to understand application functionality
- Participate in code reviews of automation scripts
- Support CI/CD integration by maintaining automated suites
- Perform API testing using Postman or Rest Assured
- Participate in daily standups and Agile/Scrum activities
Requirement:
- Must have 4–6 years in software testing (automation and manual)
- Java (Core Java, OOP concepts)
- Selenium WebDriver
- TestNG or JUnit
- Maven
- Git
- Jenkins (basic CI/CD)
- API testing — Postman, Rest Assured
- HTML, CSS, XPath/CSS selectors
- Basic SQL for database validation
- Manual testing: SDLC/STLC, test case writing, JIRA / Bugzilla, functional, regression, integration testing
