Short Summary:
Procurement at JetBrains aims to help teams acquire what they need to build great software without unnecessary delays. The role involves managing low-to-medium risk supplier contracts and refining procurement contracting workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of low-to-medium risk supplier contracts, from drafting and reviewing to execution, renewals, and terminations.
- Standardize contract templates, fallback clauses, and negotiation playbooks.
- Guide business stakeholders on commercial terms and procurement standards.
- Maintain contract records and track milestones, renewal dates, and performance metrics in our CLM and S2P systems.
- Partner with suppliers and internal teams to resolve contractual questions and monitor service level compliance.
- Work closely with Legal, Finance, Tax, Information Security, and Privacy teams to align agreements with risk and compliance standards.
- Refine procurement processes, governance, and system reporting to reduce contract cycle times.
Requirement:
- Hands-on experience managing and negotiating low-to-medium risk supplier contracts across categories like technology, software, and professional services.
- A practical understanding of commercial contract terms and procurement fundamentals.
- A proven track record of using standard templates and negotiation playbooks to independently finalize agreements.
- Direct experience operating and maintaining procurement or CLM platforms (such as Coupa, Leah, or NetSuite).
- Experience shaping or improving procurement contracting templates, playbooks, or governance processes.
- Fluent English communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
