Iterable is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering groups responsible for building AI-powered capabilities into the Iterable application. This role involves providing strategic direction and leadership to teams working on conversational workflows and AI-enabled product features.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and scale multiple engineering teams building agentic and AI-enabled product experiences.
- Act as a strategic partner to Product, Design, and Data Science leadership to define the technical roadmap.
- Drive the technical architecture and design of agent workflows and application integrations.
- Establish standards for AI-powered features to ensure reliability and security.
- Champion strong engineering practices around code quality and iterative delivery.
- Coach and mentor senior engineers and technical leads.
- Collaborate with principal engineers and data teams to align on system interfaces.
- Drive hiring and onboarding strategies as the AI engineering organization scales.
Requirement:
- At least 8+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- At least 5+ years of experience managing and leading software engineering teams.
- Strong background in application or platform engineering in a SaaS environment.
- Experience integrating complex AI or ML capabilities into production systems.
- Exceptional technical judgment across system design and developer workflows.
- Excellent executive communication skills.
