🚀 IT System Engineer | Remote, Freelance

We’re looking for an experienced IT System Engineer for a 10-month international project.

📍 Remote: max. 2–3h time difference from Germany 📅 Start: ASAP, no later than Sep 15, 2026 ⏳ Duration: 10 months 💻 Workload: 4–5 days/week 🌐 English: Fluent 💰25-30$/h gross

🔧 What you’ll do: • Manage Windows & Linux server environments • Work with VMware & Dell EMC VxRail • Manage software deployment, patching & OS hardening for 1,000+ endpoints • Support Windows & macOS endpoint security • Handle 2nd-level security incidents • Administer Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID • Manage monitoring, backup, recovery, firewall & VPN operations • Handle incidents, service requests & joiner/mover/leaver processes • Maintain documentation & knowledge transfer ✅ Requirements: • 5+ years of IT System Administration experience • Strong Azure & AWS experience • Windows Server & Active Directory • Enterprise endpoint/client management • Software deployment & patch management • Security operations experience • Strong troubleshooting & analytical skills • Fluent English

➕ Nice to have: Agile/DevOps & Matrix42 experience (Empirum, ESM, EgoSecure, UEM)
