Short Summary:
Huntress is a remote-first team founded by former NSA cyber operators, focused on making enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. The Sales Engineer will serve as a primary technical advisor for regional resellers, VARs, and Distributors, helping them sell and deploy Huntress solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Equip regional resellers and VAR teams with the technical knowledge and skills needed to sell, deploy, and support Huntress solutions through frequent hands-on training sessions, workshops, and product demonstrations.
- Deliver demonstrations to resellers and their customers and show the Huntress value.
- Serve as the primary technical advisor for our reseller sellers and VARs.
- Act as a day-to-day liaison between regional resellers and VARs and Huntress product teams, providing clear feedback on customer needs, feature gaps, and recurring trends.
- Build and maintain tactical sales collateral (decks, demos, battle cards) that help regional resellers and VARs articulate Huntress value in the field.
- Onboard new resellers and VARs to the Huntress platform, including NFR environments and demo setups.
- Support regional events, roadshows, and joint customer engagements that drive pipeline and close business.
- Ability to travel ~50% of the time to meet with customers and attend tradeshows and events.
Requirement:
- 1+ years in a sales engineering or similar technical customer-facing role
- Understanding of the cybersecurity industry
- Proven ability to demonstrate product value and understand customer pain points
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including presenting to C-level audiences
- Strong time management and organisational abilities
- Awareness of malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis
- Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Elastic, Splunk, etc.
