Short Summary:
Huntress is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team. This role involves managing customer accounting and accounts receivables processes, including payment collection and customer inquiries, while working closely with the accounting and finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact within accounting for all customer-related inquiries
- Be the accounting main point of contact for all things Stripe and Fazeshift
- Answer internal questions and customer inquiries through email, phone, Slack, and Zendesk
- Follow up with delinquent customers and write off uncollectible accounts
- Collect sales tax exemption forms from customers who qualify for exemption
- Assist with monthly sales tax reconciliations and help monitor sales tax compliance
- Collaborate and communicate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed
- Contribute to process and documentation improvements
Requirement:
- 2+ years of experience, preferably in accounting and/or accounts receivable
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities with demanding timeframes
- Ability to independently research and resolve tasks with minimal supervision
- Experience working as part of a small team with varied responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information to both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working in a fully remote organization is preferred
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets and G Suite skills
