Short Summary:
Habitat Health is seeking a qualified, hands-on Information Security Manager to design, implement, and operate the information security program for our healthcare organization. This role combines strategic security leadership with practical execution, focusing on regulatory compliance and security best practices.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security architecture aligned with HIPAA across Microsoft 365 and Meraki WAN.
- Define and maintain security controls for a PACE organization.
- Monitor security incidents and lead incident response planning.
- Perform vulnerability management and coordinate remediation activities.
- Maintain an enterprise security risk register and support business continuity requirements.
- Oversee access management and ensure data protection controls for PHI.
- Draft and enforce security policies aligned with HIPAA and NIST.
- Lead internal and external security audits and assessments.
- Manage third-party security and risk management programs.

Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Information Security or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in information security or cybersecurity roles, with 3–5 years leading security programs.
- Experience in healthcare organizations and familiarity with regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, NIST).
- Proficiency in cloud environments, particularly Microsoft 365.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
- Must reside in California and be willing to travel up to 2 weeks per quarter.
