Short Summary:
Gradient AI is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to lead complex modeling and analytical initiatives, leveraging modern deep learning and traditional data science techniques to create impactful solutions for the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:
- Set modeling strategy across the organization.
- Drive novel work and raise technical standards for model development.
- Leverage deep learning and large language models with traditional techniques.
- Prototype, deploy, and realize market value quickly.
- Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.

Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or similar field AND 8+ years of experience OR Master’s/Ph.D. in a related field AND 5+ years of experience.
- Expert-level knowledge of deep learning and ML algorithms.
- Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.
- Deep experience with natural language, medical data, or similar problem spaces.
- Familiarity with MLOps model lifecycle and accountability for model impact.
