Short Summary:
As a Human Resources Specialist, you will support G-P’s clients and manage HR, accounting, and legal service providers for international entities, delivering best-in-class HR support.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a regional expert for all employee lifecycle events and HR functions in Canada.
- Provide senior-level support to customer inquiries, focusing on compliance and legislative requirements.
- Manage local Canadian payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR advisors.
- Collaborate with the Customer Services team for strategic HR support.
- Support off-boarding and terminations, ensuring compliance with Canadian labor laws.
- Drive the adoption of product and AI-related initiatives to enhance internal processes.
- Handle ongoing client matters and maintain records in online portals.
- Lead compliance projects with cross-functional teams.
Requirement:
- BS/BA Degree or higher in Human Resources, International Business, Accounting, Law, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably as an HR Specialist, Generalist, or Business Partner.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment laws and HR practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Willingness to work flexible hours across time zones.
