Short Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building and maintaining complex systems, with a holistic approach to architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Act as trusted Technical Advisor to teams, customer executives, and technical leadership.
- Define the multi-year, enterprise-wide strategy for cloud adoption, migration, and modernization.
- Establish and enforce global cloud governance frameworks and architectural standards.
- Drive advanced DevOps practices and accountability models.
- Architect and lead the implementation of complex, large-scale solutions on Google Cloud.
- Design and govern integration patterns for hybrid and multi-cloud systems.
- Define the DevSecOps and cloud security posture.
- Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives for emerging technologies.
- Architect a comprehensive visibility strategy to monitor system health.
- Design automated governance guardrails for secure and compliant deployments.
- Mentor and grow a group of Senior/Lead Cloud Engineers.
- Own and drive continuous improvement of the cloud architecture delivery pipeline.
- Collaborate with the Data & AI Team and Engineering Leads.
Requirement:
- 12+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering or similar role.
- Extensive experience with Google Cloud.
- Proven ability to architect for scale, availability, and high-performance workloads.
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and related tools.
- Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies.
- Experience with security, audit, and compliance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in technical mentoring and project planning.
