Short Summary:
The Credit Strategy and Decisioning Manager will manage execution and delivery of GoodLeap’s underwriting policy and procedures, enhancing execution processes and communicating feedback on quality checks to leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Translate credit and underwriting policies into decision platform and maintain documentation of decisioning flows.
- Track policy performance against intent and portfolio results through dashboards.
- Brief senior leaders on execution status, risks, and open decisions.
- Maintain version history and audit trail of policy changes.
- Own change-approval workflows for strategy changes.
- Design and validate A/B tests on policy changes.
- Evaluate emerging credit and fraud vendor solutions.
- Prioritize configuration change requests against engineering and product capacity.
Requirement:
- Exceptional attention to detail and focus on engineering quality processes.
- Skilled in building monitoring dashboards and translating performance data into insights.
- Experience with SQL, Python, Databricks, Tableau, Claude/ChatGPT.
- Deep understanding of credit and underwriting policy.
- Strong sense of ownership over outcomes.
- High integrity and sound judgment.
- Working knowledge of loan decisioning engines.
- Strong program and project management skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative engagement across stakeholders.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Comfortable designing and interpreting A/B tests.
- Ability to flex between strategy and execution.
