Job Description -

Inviting applications for the role of Associate Consultant, After-Sales & Service!

In this role, you will support client engagements focused on improving after-sales and service operations for leading global clients. You will work alongside experienced consultants to analyse service processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support the implementation and adoption of practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support client-facing workstreams focused on after-sales and service process improvement and transformation
• Analyse existing service and after-sales processes, identify pain points, and support the development of improvement opportunities
• Assist with client interviews, workshops, and process walkthroughs to gather information and document business requirements
• Support the documentation and modelling of service processes, workflows, and business requirements
• Assist in analysing service-related data and preparing insights to support operational improvements
• Support the design and implementation of solutions related to areas such as service operations, spare parts, warranty, returns, repairs, field service, and service logistics
• Contribute to testing activities by preparing test scenarios, documenting results, and supporting issue resolution
• Support the preparation of user documentation, training materials, and other client deliverables
• Collaborate with consultants, technical teams, data specialists, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment across workstreams
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, development of best practices, and continuous improvement of consulting tools and methodologies

Qualifications we seek in you!

• University degree - preferably in engineering, economics, business, supply chain, or a related field
• First professional experience, ideally in consulting, supply chain, operations, customer service, or a related area
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to structure information and identify practical solutions
• Interest in after-sales, service, and customer-centric operations
• Basic understanding of supply chain, service, or operational processes
• Ability to work effectively as part of a project team and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Good communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with process modelling or collaboration tools such as Visio or Miro is a plus, as well as programming and data base skills
• Willingness and ability to work in a hybrid/remote client-facing environment and travel as needed
• Interest in Generative AI and Agentic AI applications in customer service, after-sales, or supply chain
• Fluency in English and German
