Short Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated ServiceNow Developer with hands-on experience in platform development and exposure to Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and supporting scalable ServiceNow solutions across core platform modules and SPM applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions using platform best practices.
- Build and customize applications using App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Workflows, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and ACLs.
- Develop and support Service Catalog items, Record Producers, Knowledge workflows, and automated business processes.
- Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server, and web services.
- Perform platform upgrades, code reviews, defect resolution, and technical documentation.
- Optimize application performance, maintain data integrity, and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, design reviews, backlog grooming, and release management.
- Configure and enhance ServiceNow SPM modules including Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Agile Development, Resource Management, Investment Funding, Portfolio Planning, and Strategic Planning.
- Support end-to-end demand intake, project lifecycle management, resource allocation, capacity planning, and portfolio governance processes.
- Collaborate with PMOs, Portfolio Managers, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable SPM solutions.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript, ServiceNow Scripting Framework, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Data Policies, ACLs.
- Experience developing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and IntegrationHub.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow data model, CMDB concepts, and platform architecture.
- Experience supporting at least one implementation or enhancement project involving ServiceNow SPM/PPM modules.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
