Short Summary:
As the EHS Engineer, you will serve as a technical safety professional at our Helios data center campus in Afton, Texas, responsible for managing EHS compliance programs, conducting incident investigations, and delivering EHS training programs.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical EHS resource for assigned work areas at our Helios data center campus
- Develop, implement, and maintain site-level EHS programs in compliance with applicable regulatory standards
- Conduct and document job hazard analyses (JHAs), pre-task planning, and risk assessments across assigned Galaxy work areas
- Manage hazardous waste programs, including characterization, labeling, manifesting, and regulatory reporting (RCRA, satellite accumulation) for operations assignments
- Lead site-level incident and near-miss investigations; develop corrective action plans and track to closure
- Write incident investigation reports and corrective action plans; communicate hazard findings to operations and construction teams
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for Galaxy employees, subcontractors, and new hires independently
- Maintain OSHA recordkeeping obligations, including 300/300A logs, 301 forms, and applicable regulatory submittals
- Conduct workplace risk/exposure assessments for various classes of hazards
- Periodically inspect and audit safe work practices to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Provide technical guidance to EHS Technicians
- Escalate regulatory concerns and significant safety issues to the Sr. Manager, EHS
- Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager, EHS

Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in EHS, Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering required; equivalent practical experience may be substituted for formal education
- 3–5 years of EHS experience in critical facility / industrial operations environment
- ASP preferred; working toward CSP encouraged
- Site-level compliance program and hands-on incident investigation experience required
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, & NFPA standards
- Proficiency in EHS recordkeeping, OSHA 300 log management, and training documentation systems
- Effective communicator across field teams, contractors, and leadership
- Experience in data centers, critical facilities, or large-scale commercial construction projects preferred
