Short Summary:
At Formlabs, we’re building tools that enable anyone to bring their ideas to life through 3D printing technology. This role supports the product development cycle and involves collaboration with design teams to ensure quality products.
Responsibilities:
- Bring together firmware and hardware of subsystems into one system.
- Partner with system architect to document visual descriptions of systems and subsystems.
- Establish interfaces between subsystems and define/refine control algorithms.
- Manage sub-system/system level requirements and track changes.
- Design test plans to validate requirements and analyze results.
- Resolve systems issues to improve performance.
Requirement:
- Previous experience designing complex electro-mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of motion control, sensors, and control algorithms.
- Experience managing system and subsystem requirements.
- Proficient in hardware debugging and scripting (Python preferred).
