Short Summary:
At Flexport, we are building the unified Supply Chain Operating System for global trade. Our Forward Deployed Consultants (FDCs) work directly with enterprise clients to create and implement real-time supply chain solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Deploy directly to client headquarters and logistics hubs to audit supply chain data and processes.
- Design and scale mathematical supply chain models using Python, SQL, and proprietary tools.
- Serve as the technical solution design lead across Flexport capabilities.
- Partner with commercial teams to create high-impact client proposals.
- Work alongside frontline operations teams to validate models in live workflows.
- Manage 90-day deployment sprints, building project roadmaps and delivering measurable results.
- Monitor project metrics to measure financial and environmental impact.
- Identify logistics losses and partner with product managers to enhance platform features.

Requirement:
- BA/BS or higher in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in supply chain management/consulting, logistics engineering, or product management.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Proven ability for systems-thinking and technical program management.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and executive communication abilities.
- Willingness to learn ground operations on-site.
- Self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail.
