Short Summary:
Fivetran is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Experience global group, focusing on delivering valuable features, improving software architecture, and maintaining reliable service operation.
Responsibilities:
- Implement functionality for Core Experience area of product (Pricing and Buying)
- Contribute to feature enhancements and bug fixes
- Write well-designed, testable code
- Optimize code for performance
- Improve code test coverage
- Refactor code for maintainability
- Follow up on incidents, writing postmortems and preparing mitigation plans
- Work closely with teammates to achieve milestone goals
- Document work and share information with teammates
Requirement:
- Strong coding, technical, and problem-solving skills with professional experience in Java applications in a production environment
- Experience in reliable distributed systems, focusing on high-volume data management platforms under strict SLAs
- Ability to write well-structured Java code following programming best practices
- Specify software design to meet project requirements
- Expertise in working with popular Cloud platforms, Cloud-based APIs, and databases
- Strong troubleshooting skills with existing code
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
