Short Summary:
As a Finance Analyst for Business Services, you will gain hands-on experience across a broad range of core finance activities, supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and month-end reporting for Business Services overheads.
Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of departmental budgets, forecasts, and month-end reporting
- Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Perform month-end close activities, including journal postings, accruals, prepayments, and management reporting
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including insightful financial commentary
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial initiatives and business decision-making
- Continuously develop financial knowledge and skills through hands-on experience, collaboration, and mentorship
Requirement:
- Recently completed a postgraduate degree in Management, Finance, Financial Analysis, or a related field
- AAT-qualified or part-qualified and actively working towards CIMA or ACCA (S)
- Up to 1 year of relevant experience, such as internships or part-time roles in finance, management, or related fields
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on new challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Exceptional quantitative skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights effectively
