Short Summary:
Everest Clinical Research is seeking a committed, skilled, and customer-focused individual to join their team as Associate Director, Open-Source Application Development. This role involves leading the development of open-source applications in support of clinical data standards and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in defining and implementing open-source application development strategy.
- Ensure alignment with global regulatory expectations related to data standards and advanced analytics.
- Oversee design, development, and maintenance of R- and Python-based applications.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort through automated solutions.
- Establish a framework for controlled innovation in application development and validation lifecycle.
- Ensure AI-assisted development approaches align with regulatory expectations and data integrity principles.
- Maintain a software development lifecycle (SDLC) framework for open-source applications.
- Foster a culture balancing quality, compliance, and operational excellence with innovation.
Requirement:
- MSc or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, or a relevant field with at least 10 years of clinical research experience.
- Experience implementing CDISC standards and supporting regulatory submissions.
- Strong hands-on experience with R, Python, and SAS, including application development.
- Experience applying AI and large language model (LLM) tools for coding development.
- Familiarity with GitHub or similar version control platforms and CI/CD practices.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills.
- Up to 10% business travel may be required.
