Short Summary:
We currently have a vacancy for a Security Officer to offer his/her services as an expert remotely, closely cooperating with a major client’s IT team on site.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee the organization's information security, IT risk management, and governance frameworks.
- Advise on security strategy, policies, standards, architecture, resilience, and operational security requirements.
- Develop and maintain the Information Security Management Framework (ISMF).
- Establish and monitor IT governance, risk, compliance, audit, and reporting processes.
- Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, IT security audits, and business continuity planning.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, standards, documentation, and operational guidelines.
- Lead enterprise-wide security initiatives and promote security awareness.
- Provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving complex security issues.
- Manage industrial and personnel security clearance processes.
- Support strategic technology planning by advising on current and emerging cybersecurity risks.
Requirement:
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in risk management, information security, and IT.
- Experience in contract, vendor, and managed services procurement and management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing technologies and virtualized environments.
- Experience in Agile software development and DevSecOps environments.
- Excellent knowledge of information security, risk management, and business continuity frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, security best practices, tools, and technologies.
- A professional security management certification will be considered an asset.
- Excellent command of the English language.
